EA answers everyone's request for single-player campaign with the sequel.

During Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, FL, Electronic Arts took the stage to formally announce the sequel to the 2015 version of Star Wars Battlefront, Star Wars Battlefront II. Star Wars Battlefront II will include a single-player campaign mode, which will be played through the eyes of an unknown female soldier of the Empire named Iden Versio, the commander of the Inferno Squad.

Players will be able to play through the expanded multiplayer mode, playing through original, prequel, and current timelines within the Star Wars cinematic universe. They can also play as fan-favorite characters such as Darth Maul, Kylo Ren, Rey, and more.

Characters will have the ability to upgrade their techniques and abilities throughout the duration of the game, players can customize and inject what they believe these characters to be. Star Wars Battlefront II will include split-screen co-op play, so that you and a friend can play offline in the same room (just like the old days!). Upgrades made to characters during offline play can be used when playing mutiplayer online.

Pre-ordering Star Wars Battlefront II will allow you the chance to play the game before launch day and special in-game items.
