For Honor's reveal at last year's E3 was definitely Ubisoft's "Wow" moment. The combat looked fresh, and the setting was interesting. Who wouldn't want to fight it out playing as: Vikings, Knights, or Samurai?
It came as no surprise we would be seeing the game again during Ubisoft's conference. This time the publisher decided to show off a segment from the game's campaign mode, focusing on the Viking segment for this presentation. Everything still seems to be in order. In the video you begin attacking a castle/stronghold, slowly advancing your way through swaths of minor enemies occasionally encountering some with similar combat abilities to you prompting the fighting mechanic that the game is being sold on. Finally, you'll fight a boss at the end of the mission. It doesn't look like anything special, but a campaign mode in what could easily have been a multiplayer only game is always appreciated.
For Honor will be released February 14, 2017 on PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.
