Rockstar Games have announced that L.A. Noire is coming out for Playstation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch this fall. The new versions will include the complete original game and all additional downloadable content previously released.
The Playstation 4 and Xbox One versions come with a range of technical enhancements like native 1080p support, enhanced lighting and clouds, new cinematic camera angles, high resolution textures, while the Playstation 4 Pro and Xbox One X versions will run the game in 4K.
The Nintendo Switch version comes with specific enhancements like a Joy-Con mode with gyroscopic, gesture-based controls, HD rumble and new wide over-the-shoulder camera angles, plus contextual touch screen controls for portable detective work.
Also Rockstar are taking first steps in Virtual Reality with the announcement of L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files for HTC Vive. This will include seven select cases from the original game rebuilt specifically for a virtual reality experience on Valve's VR headset that recently had it's price discounted.
The new console versions are slated to release November 14th this year, while L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files does not have a definite release date at the time of writing this article.
